Re: Entry-Level Engineering Position
Dear Human Resource:
I was excited to see your opening for the Entry-Level Engineering position,and I hope to be invited for an
interview.
My background includes education on Civil engineering and some Construction management skills. Temporary I
have been working as assistant project manager in a general contracting company, where my responsibility is to run
between jobs with tools and materials. As well as check out new job, track job progress,do pay-stub and manage
labor.
Previously while on college, I worked as a technician in an electric company, where my responsibilities included
assemble traffic control devices and street lighting. In this I also had experience working in the roadways and
Highways. I also had experience working on a schedule between the rush hours and overnight. Being on the road I
had lots of safety lesson on working in a safe in environment. For that during this job I also earned a certificate from
OSHA.
Previously, I also worked as a transmission engineer as a co-op job. Where my responsibly was to conduct research
on different pole material and climate conditions in northeast region. I also got experience using different software
like SKADA and PLS CADD. During that time there was lots storms and Blackout, which allowed me to work on
situations normally that doesn’t come. Due to that I was also promoted to work on the data bases ofthe existing
Overhead and underground transmission lines. I was offered to continue to work after my term was done. However
due to my education I was unable to continue.
In addition to these experiences, I gained considerable engineering skills during labs and design classes by working
in student groups.Also during senior design I had privilege to work with AECOM for the initial part of the project.
I also bring to the table strong computer proficiencies in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS
Project, Auto Cad and many more in college. Please see the accompanying resume for details of my experience and
