2.  The publisher I would chose to publish my magazine would be IPC media. This is
because they are the leading institution in the UK that publish NME which also
focuses on the same genre of music as my magazine, therefore have the same
target audience as my product.
 IPC Media produces over 60 iconic media brands, with print alone reaching
almost two thirds of UK women and 42% of UK men – almost 26 million UK
adults – while our websites collectively reach over 20 million users every month.
 I would also choose IPC as their diverse print and digital portfolio offers
something for everyone, with a focus on three core audiences: men, mass market
women and upmarket women.

3.  Firstly institutions that would distribute my product will be conventional such as
distributing hard copies in stores such as WH Smiths and other popular
newsagents as this is possibly the most convenient way of reaching my target
audience.
 I would also use PDF versions of sections of my magazine online so people can
view parts of weekly editions in a way that is much more convenient for them
which then will perhaps lead them into subscribing to buying the magazine every
week. I have found many magazines now put their products online such I would
do the same in order to compete with other companies.
 I would also distribute my magazines to big chain supermarkets such as Tesco
and Morrisons as I have found they also offer a wide variety of magazines
although this might not directly reach my target audience, perhaps parents
shopping in these places will be tempted to buy for their sons or daughters.

 Another reason why I would choose PIC media is they would me appeal to my
target audience as on their website there is a section names Men and Music
which is significant for my music magazine and also the male audience for my
magazine. However there is also a section for Women which also helps to reach
my target audience. Furthermore they also distribute NME weekly which is how I
also want my magazine to be distributed.
 I researched what IPC say about NME;
