This week will you will be turning in your Draft Review. The draft review gives you the opportunity to get
feedback on your paper before you submit the final copy. In assignment #9 you include two questions
to gain feedback on specific items in your paper. After reviewing the rubric and your paper, ask two
questions that will help your paper’s content become stronger.
Former students have asked about completing an APA citation. A citation is at the end of a paraphrased
statement or direct quote. The citation should include parenthesis-(author’s last name,
date)parenthesis, period. The period for the sentence goes after the citation so it is included with the
statement.
For a direct quote (use quotation marks) then cite the source (author’s last name, date, page or
paragraph number of the direct quote). It is as simple as that.
All in-text citations should be part of the reference page and all listed on the reference page should be
cited in your paper.

More importantly, please complete the draft review. Going through this stage of editing and revising is
an important part of the writing process. This will help make your paper stronger.
I look forward to reviewing your paper this week.
