Note for the Network
Network members are asked to check that the D&D guidelines are being into any new or refurbishment building projects.
The Design & Dignity guidelines are currently being reviewed and will be published later this year. Please note that the recommended size for all new family rooms is 20 square meters. Family rooms need to be large enough to enable family meetings and accommodate a minimum of 8 people seated at any one time. Family rooms should be no smaller than 12 square meters.
