The results are excellent and will increase as we grow the
footprint and fine tune messages. We proved that images
matter considerably.
The big takeaway, which we believe will help your traditional marketing,
is that images matter. This became very apparent with the Press Release.
Initially we used an an image of the outdoor
billboard looking out to sea. Viewership over one
week was less than 400.
We changed the image to something that
seemed vaguely related but was intriguing. We
then re-featured the PR and it jumped to 4500
readers in a few days.
The second takeaway is that animated video,
where we create videos or slideshows of the
actual review, vastly outperforms text and audio.

Honest reviews are the life blood on our business and we know that
travelers like you need to know what other travelers have to say about
our service and their experience on Atlantis Submarines Barbados.
That is why we gather and share reviews from all resources on the internet: From
TripAdvisor to our own guest comments. In this review, a happy guest shares what
they loved about diving with our professional, friendly and highly trained crew
onboard a real coastal adventure submarine. Harene says:
"You can do this tour night or day, I went 11a.m. Ideal for adults and children.
Narrow, so cosy, and air conditioned. Large viewing windows. Excellent information
and sometimes very funny interaction from the crew. No food, drinks or toilets on
this trip. (VIP trip is different.) Non VIP trip cost about £74 pp. Spoiler alert, so do
not read on. We saw many different kinds of fish (beautiful colours,) turtles, coral
reefs, eels, octopus and a ship wreck and got down to 145ft. On the way back you
have a choice of a glass of rum punch, orange juice or water. "

The standard review-video presents a text
version of the review introduced by a
professional spokesperson and ending with a
call to action by the same spokesperson
(bookends). We have expanded the concept
by adding our own green-screen productions,
voice overs and animation.
After multiple tests, we believe that
Atlantis video reviews should all be animated
as in the case of the first (with Pete). We will
add professional voice overs, video animation
and brand identification. The generic
spokesperson work well for the bookends.
The lack of high resolution video is a
major drawback. We have scraped footage off
of YouTube and made it work.

Travel sections. At this time it has had over 4500
views on the Newswire site and many more have
seen it on the 100 plus media sites that have
picked it up. A separate report of the pickup is
available.
Images Matter
The initial image failed to attract readers.
Although the article was displayed to thousands, it
had only 400 readers in two week. Upgrading to
the more enticing and more generic underwater
photo increased viewership by 500 %.
We think that it is a good idea to apply this
lesson across the board. It has wider appeal and
can reach those who may never have thought
about a submarine adventure.
Multimedia - Multi Channel Promo
The article was enhanced with an animated map which Kathy
created for the promo. It also included the video, the hi-res image and
social media links. It liked to http://barbados.Atlantissubmarines.com
at the top of the page and again at the end. The PR was picked up by
Boston Globe and many top performing news media sites.
It has also been promoted through our purpose built network
(Barbadosubtours), HolidayHoltel, AllCast Marketing and 3rd party
networks. In total, the network contains several hundred sites. We use
them strategically and not all for the same links or at the same time.

Tracking Strategy
The initial ranking will be for the network terms
we have chosen to work with. Searches for
BarbadosubTours will show many of the network sites
created for Atlantis. We evaluate what is tracking and
refine our strategy based on results. Later we expand
the terms using top rated sites as authority links.
Results
See your Google Page 1 ranking on right. All with
arrows are our network.
Vimeo and YouTube videos are both ranking in
positions 1 and 2 of Google search results. Also
ranking are the Barbados.org social pages, the
BarbadosubTours LinkedIn, Scoop.it, Skyrock,
Deviantart and Blogspot (Google Blogger). These may
become key sites for future promos.
It is an impressive start which builds a great
foundation for more targeted work.
In the next promo, we will aim higher and track
results and conversions. We will also integrate more
sites and start syndicating reviews as graphically
optimized images to the network of image sites.
