Digital Technology Development in Lao PDR is still in developing process and a lot of
work/efforts are needed for the successful of the development;
The Government of Lao PDR is aware of using Digital Technology as a tools for
developing of industrialization and modernization, as well as in improving the quality
of government service and administration;
We are promoting the using of Digital Technology for improvement of efficiency
government sectors, including IoT for consumers,comercial and alos Industrial;
We continue open up the industry to facilitate partnership and inward investment
opportunities in order to play our part in the growth of the region;
Skills and capabilities transfer is so critical to the sustainable development of digital
sector in Lao PDR;
Training and Capacity-building at all levels are necessary;
Assistance and consultancy on digital technology development and policy with other
countries and International organizations are required to fulfill our objectives.
