Inovina are currently finalizing a 70 year deal to provide under a private / public project arrangement,
waste water treatment to Ngi Son Economic Zone in Thanh Hoa Vietnam. Initially we have agreed to
provide a 300m³ per day proof of performance plant in order to confirm current analysis of the waste
streams and furthermore confirm the operational budget set. Phase 1 of the project which will take 2
years to develop involves a scale plant with future expansion ability of 18,500m³ per day to the zone.
Included in this deal is a 16ha parcel of land adjacent to the ocean in which we will build the scale
plant, manufacturing facilities and increase production of the plant over the next 18 years and
beyond as the park expands.
BUSINESS PLAN – SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

P R O P O S A L
It is expected that in 18 years the park will reach capacity and the waste water treatment plant will be
operating at a peak loading of 80,000m³ per day.
Inovina in our negotiations have been made aware of three other parks in the same region of a
smaller peak scale in which need the same principal applied. These parks will be reviewed and cost
benefit analysis shall be conducted in due course 3rd quarter 2017.
The agreed to pricing has been set at $2.10USD per m³ for ROI for the life of plant with 7 yearly CPI
adjustments. The operational expenditure pricing has been set at $0.35USD per m³ for the life of
plant again with 3 yearly CPI adjustments.
The total agreed to price per m³ treated that shall be charged and paid for by the government is
$2.45USD per m³ treated.

The Inovina WaterMiner® treatment system is a disruptive innovative technology eliminating the need for traditional
chemical and biological treatment systems.
This technology only requires electricity to remove contaminants from the waste water streams.
Our patented and proven technology is the most advanced water treatment method in use today.
Here are some examples of projects in the USA (which has extremely stringent regulations for water quality
standards ) utilizing the 4th Generation of the WaterMiner platform:

The parametric quality of post treatment discharge to environment (in the case of this
project to the ocean via pipework) are detailed in the below table.
The table has been formatted to ascertain trigger values (being the value in which the
(individual ‘trigger activated response plan’ is initiated in accordance with the
overarching waste water treatment ‘environmental emergency response plan’) in
accordance with the National Technical Regulations of Vietnam under the power of
decisions set out by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment ‘the regulator’.

COST ANALYSIS
T H A N H H O A W AT E R T R E AT M E N T P L A N T
P R O P O S A L
Traditional waste water treatment operational expenditures range dramatically. The $0.35USD/m³ is
appropriate for the zone and application. This figure will be proven in the POP operation.
A figure of $2.10/m³ is utilised as the capital expenditure buy back figure.
The total cost per m³ to be recovered from Nghi Son Economic Zone is $2.45USD
SLUDGE PRODUCTION

Inovin Australia have licenced Inovina Vietnam for the supply and use of the Microwave Pyrolysis waste

Vietnamese market place.
Upon full analysis of the waste stream within the POP phase of the project identification of the actual
energy production shall be conducted. Sludge production analysis has been conducted in Australia and
it is expected the extra energy produced will run the entire facilities electricity demand. This system shall
not be utilized within the POP, analysis shall be gathered for full plant implementation only.
