Day 2: 14 Feb: Hanoi – Halong bay (B,L,D)
8:00 – 8h15: Alova Gold Cruise’s bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel & start the 3 hour
and a half drive to Halong Bay.
12h00 – 12h30: Board Alova Gold Cruise at the Bai Chay port, enjoy welcome drink, crew briefing
before checking in cabin. Start cruising and enjoy a Special lunch with Vietnamese Traditional

Day 4: 16 Feb. Hanoi city tour. Hanoi – Hue by flight (B,L)
8:00 AM – 8:30AM, tour guide and driver will come to pick up at hotel, then start driving along
Hanoi Old Quarter to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and
historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts.
Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049
the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue to visit the Quan
Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake
(One of the oldest in Vietnam ). Next, we will enjoy lunch time at a restaurant before continue to
visit the Ethnology Museum, and then head to the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam's
first university constructed in 1070, it's gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing
glimpse into Vietnam's past. Fianlly, back Ngoc Son Temple for enjoying Hoan Kiem Lake with
overview.

Day 5: 17 Feb: Hue – City tour (B,L)
8:00am, Pick up at your hotel in Hue in the morning for full day tour. Our visiting sites includes
Old Imperial City, Flag Tower, Thien Mu Pagoda, Royal Tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Our
exciting day ends with romantic cruise on the Perfume River with music on boat.

Day 6: 18 Feb: Hue- Hoi An (Bus) at 7:30 (B)
Today, you will take the taxi to our pointed place for the bus to Hoian. town - Journey south along
Highway 1 past the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co.
Upon arrival to Hoian, take a walking tour to visit the ancient town with all major interesting sites:
Ong Pagoda, Hoi An Museum, Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Assembly Hall of
Cantonese Chinese Congregation.

Day 7: 19 Feb : Hoi An- My Son – Da Nang – Sai Gon (B)
Pickup at the hotel at 8am for transfer to My Son Holy Land, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of
Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now
remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same le ague as
some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in
Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was
built from the 7 to 13 centuries.
Back to the town in the afternoon. Free till transfer to the airport for flights to Saigon.

Day 8: 20 Feb: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi tunnels – Cao Dai Temple (B)
Our guide will pick you up at 7:30 at your hotel.

3. We will start from your hotel to visit the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh (120 km) where daily Mass is
done by the Caodaism followers at noon. Cao Dai is a combination of Buddhism, Confucianism,
Taoism, native Vietnamese spiritualism, Christianity and Islam. After lunch, we head to Cu Chi
Tunnels. The tunnels cover an extensive underground network (approximately 200 kilometers) of
tunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and later expanded by the Viet Cong. The tunnels contained
hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used extensively for refuge and storage and
also utilized as a military base for the Viet Cong close to Saigon. The 1968 Tet Offensive was
launched from Cu Chi with surprising effect. A section of the tunnels has been widened to allow
tourists to get a feel for what the life underground must have been like (please note that this will
be hot and sweaty and also a bit claustrophobic!).

Day 9: 21 Feb: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong - HCM (B,L)
Our guide will pick you up at 7:30 at your hotel.
Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.
On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the
stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet,
have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben
Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along
natural canals. Have a short cycling trip (applied for private tour/if time permitted) then enjoy
seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals.
Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy
& observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. Meet the bus and
return to HCMC. This trip provides a fascinating insight into daily life in the Mekong Delta and you
are guaranteed to take home your own private collection of beautiful memories.
