As thecapital of Vietnam for almost a thousand years, the enchanting Hanoi is considered to be one ofcultural centers of Vietnam, where most of Vietnamese dynasties had left behind their imprint. Eventhough some relics have not survived through wars and time, the city still has many interestingcultural and historic monuments for visitors and residents alike.Your trip starts today with the warm welcome at the airport in Hanoi. Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B)Today, we will spend a full day to visit the city. We start with visit to President Ho Chi Minhsmausoleum and residence. We also visit the famous One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Leaving the Presidentscomplex, we continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Văn Miếu). ancient capital because of the local mispronunciation of the word Hoá in Thuân Hoá. Here remainsmany historical buildings as a capital of the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945).Upon arrival to Hue, we will visit Imperial Citadel, Flag Tower, Khai Dinh Tomb. The day ends with tripto bustling Dong Ba Market. You will have chance to shop and explore the daily life of the local here.Overnight at Hotel, Hue.Day 6: Hue – Hoian (B)We start with a nice boat cruise on Perfume River to visit the legend pagoda of Thien Mu and MinhMang Tomb. The Perfume River is 30km long and that is from Bang Lang to Thuan An estuary. In thisregion the stream runs very slowly. Beautifully as well as mysteriously, the color of the Perfume Riverbecomes darker when it runs along the foot of Ngoc Tran Mount - the Jade Cup Temple. The riverbrings with it fragrances of tropical flora. Probably thats why the name of the river has been thePerfume River.In the afternoon, we leave Hue by road to Hoian via the scenic fishing village of Lang Co and thespectacular Hai Van pass.Overnight at Hotel, Hoian.Day 7: Hoian city (B)Hoian was originally a Cham port town, but has been influenced down the centuries by a myriad oftraders from various cultures. There is a distinctly Chinese appearance with pagodas and assemblyhalls scattered along the small streets. Hoian was once a bustling port in centuries gone by, before theriver silted up. Coupled with low tiled houses, the town is one of the most delightful places to visit inVietnam.In the morning, we have a half day tour to see a historic house, the Japanese Covered Bridge, aChinese assembly hall. We enjoy a free afternoon to make the most of delightful Hoian and itssurrounding areas. The market is a good place to buy silk that can be made up into fine garments, allwithin a day. Nha Trang is already very popular withVietnamese tourists and is widely considered as amongst the worlds most beautiful bays. Tourists arewelcome to participate in the Sea Festival, held biennially. Nha Trang was proud to host the MissUniverse 2008 Pageant on July 14, 2008 and it will also do Miss World 2010.We will take the flight to Nhatrang. We have lunch upon arrival and visit the Po Nagar Cham Tower.The tower was constructed by the Cham in honor of Yang Ino Po Ngar, the mother of the kingdom. Itwas occupied by the local Buddhists of Nha Trang for prayers and worship. The Po Nagar Kalan is astructure in dazzling colors and with amazing architecture. The well known Oceanographic Institutewill also be visited. There are many sea sport, relaxation activities you can do in Nha Trang. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit, many sea species of NhaTrang/Khanh Hoa province make a small ocean world there. We will then cruise to the Mun Island forsnorkeling. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southeasternVietnam of 39,000 square kilometers. The region is famous as a large rice growing area. It producesabout half of the total of Vietnams rice output making Vietnam the second largest exporter of riceglobally after Thailand.Morning depart from Ho Chi Minh City by road to the watery world of the Mekong Delta – Vietnam’smost fertile region and the source of a large amount of the country’s fresh food. On arrival in VinhLong province, we take a boat trip along the narrow waterways, overhung with dense vegetation andtry exotic fruits in one of the orchards.We have lunch with local delicacies served in a bonsai garden. Day 13: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B)We spend this morning for a boat trip to visit the Cai Rang Floating market in Can Tho City, which isone of the three biggest in the Mekong Delta. The shops and stalls at these markets are boats ofdifferent sizes. Cai Rang Floating Market is open all day but it is busiest from sunrise to about 9am.The main items sold there are farm products and specialties of Cai Rang Town, Chau Thanh Districtand neighboring areas.
