BIBLE READING, BIBLE (GOSPEL) SHARING, BIBLE STUDY
BIBLE READING: The monthly Bible Quest provides an opportunity for us to read the various books/parts of the Bible thoroughly. While
undergoing thorough reading, certain chapters or passages, verses, and even words may touch us, and consciously or unconsciously it
would make some impact in our lives. Thus, by simply reading the Bible we are enriched someway.
BIBLE/GOSPEL SHARING: Words of God are like hidden treasures. More we dig the ground more treasures we find. So also the
Words of God. Simple reading of the Bible is not sufficient to unravel the hidden treasures of the Words of God. When we simply read it
alone, we may not able to get the wide spectrum of messages from a particular passage, verse or word. Also, while reading personally,
we try to focus our attention more on the message which is evident rather than the hidden treasures of the Word of God. On the other
hand, when the several members come together, as a group, to read, reflect and share the Word of God, then we get a wide spectrum of
messages that can immensely benefit our spiritual life. Here in where the Gospel/Bible sharing plays a crucial role.
BIBLE STUDY: Majority of the people are satisfied with Bible reading/Gospel sharing. Bible reading/Gospel sharing is meant for the
common and ordinary people. But there may be some who want to know the scholarly aspect of the Bible i.e. who wrote, why wrote,
when wrote, how wrote etc etc. The Bible study is more of intellectual nature, whereas Gospel sharing is more of reflective nature.
