AC/DC is an Australian hard rock band formed in 1970. The current members are Angus Young, Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd, and Cliff Williams. The band had two stages defined by their lead singers - the Bon Scott stage from 1970 until his death in 1980 from alcohol abuse, and the Brian Johnson stage beginning in 1980 which produced their best-selling album Back in Black that sold 42 million copies.
