This document outlines the research objectives and questions of a study examining the beliefs and teaching practices of 4 excellent English language teachers. The study aims to 1) determine the teachers' beliefs about teaching, 2) identify their teaching practices, 3) understand their beliefs about English as a subject, 4) understand their beliefs about students as learners, and 5) understand how they plan lessons. To address these objectives, the study will conduct in-depth interviews using qualitative methods and analyze themes and patterns in the teachers' responses.
