GEMA ART GROUP a. s. is rendering its services in the field of heritage care,
conservation and restoration in Iraq since 2004.
• GEMA has an excellent team of restorers, experts and professionals from related fields.
• GEMA places large emphasis on the application of new scientific methods and technologies and devote
great attention to scientific research.
• GEMA has acquired wide experience in the field of conservation of monuments under the auspices of
UNESCO and within the framework of the European Union's Phare Program
• GEMA is ready to realize a state or private and individual projects abroad e.g., we might mention the
projects in Ireland, France, United States and Austria and other countries.
• GEMA organized the Czech Governmental Aid Program for the preservation of the Iraqi cultural heritage
during 2004 and 2006 years.
• GEMA has been active in Erbil since 2006, where realized a number of projects in the field of
conservation and restoration. We might mention the Erbil Citadel, Minaret Choli or UNESCO for Iraq
Office projects realized in the Kurdistan Region of Republic of Iraq.
