Coral reefs are generally found in tropical oceans and are in Hawaii and in the Caribbean.

3. WEATHER:
The water is between 20-28ºC. Wave actions are important because the waves bring in food,
nutrients and oxygen.

4. PLANTS:
Plants of coral reef are: plankton,called phytoplankton,algae and other plants convert light energy into
chemical energy through photosynthesis.

5. ANIMALS:
The animals are: corals,sponges,sea stars, worms, fishes, sharks, rays, lobster, shrimp, octopus,
snails and many more.

6. PEOPLE´S
INFLUENCE
Coral reef ecosystems are important for many reasons: 1-They remove and recycle carbon dioxide.
2-Coral reefs protect land from storms. The impact from strong waves and harsh weather by
absorbing.
