2. Microsoft Word 2007 Microsoft Word is a word processing software that allows the construction and distribution of printable material. We used it in the planning stage when we were first assigned into groups. We used it to keep our work neat and safe, to make it easier to distribute any notes we had written as opposed to hand writing multiple copies. We also wanted to ensure that in the event of a loss, we would always have a back-up and we could add to it any time. We also used it in the evaluation stages to plan out what were going to type onto Blogger. It was easier to use as Blogger only allowed a small box that made it difficult to edit, whereas Microsoft Word was an entire page that it made it simple to edit any errors.
3. Google Google is a web based search engine that enables one to find information on the world wide web (www). We used Google throughout every stage because it directed us to many websites that had all the information we were looking for. For Example we used it to search for information on the horror genre, horror films, the basics of special effects make-up, online shopping, images of dream catchers, etc.
