Agneepath scheme details
According to the government, the Agneepath program was designed to allow a
young profile of the armed forces. This will offer young people who may be eager
to put the uniform by attracting young talents from society who are more in line
with contemporary technological trends and grouping of qualified, disciplined and
motivated labor in society .
As for the armed forces, it will improve the youth profile of the armed forces and
provide a new lease of “” josh “and” jazba “while producing a transformational
change to a more technological more informed armed forces – which is indeed
the need for time. It is planned that the average age profile of the Indian armed
forces decreases from around 4 to 5 years by the implementation of this
program.

According to the government, the nation is extremely beneficial to the infusion of
highly inspired young people with a more in -depth understanding of the self
-discipline, diligence and concentration which would be adequately qualified and
will be able to contribute in other sectors. The dividends of a short military service
for the nation, society and young people of the nation are immense.
Agneepath Scheme eligibility
The Agneepath scheme is one of the most popular schemes offered by the
Indian Army. Eligibility for this scheme is very strict, and only those who meet all
of the following requirements can apply:
-Be a resident of India
-Have at least an intermediate level qualification from a recognized board or
institution
-Have served in the Indian Army for at least 2 years
-Be between the ages of 18 to 30 years old as on 01 Jan 2020
If you meet these requirements, then you can apply to become a part of the
Agneepath Scheme. The application process is very simple and takes just a few
minutes to complete. Once you have applied, you will need to provide additional
documentation (such as your ID card and proof of residence) before you can
start receiving benefits.

Who are agneevir?
Young people who join the armed forces as part of the Agnipath program will be
known as Agniveers.
The AGNVEERS will receive an attractive personalized monthly package as well
as risk and difficulties allowances, depending on the three services. At the end of
the four -year engagement period, the AGNIVERS will be paid once “Sevanidhi”
which will include their contribution, including the interests run, and the
corresponding contribution of the government equal to the accumulated amount
of their contribution, including the Interests as indicated below.
During the selection, the AGNVEERS will spend six months of training and will
then be deployed for three and a half years. Their starting salary should be Rs.
30,000 (around $ 384) as well as additional advantages. Their salary will reach
up to Rs. 40,000 (around $ 512) by the end of the four -year service. In addition,
during this period, 30% of the soldiers’ salary will be maintained as part of the
Seva Nidhi program and the government will also contribute an equal amount
each month. At the end of their four-year service, each soldier will receive Rs.
11.71 Lakh who will be free of tax in addition to obtaining Rs. 48 Lakh life
insurance coverage for the four years. For those who are reshanged, the first
four years will not be taken into account for retirement services.

Exit after 4 years
The “Seva Nidhi” will be exempt from income tax. There will be no right to
gratuity and retirement services. The AGNIVERS will receive non-contributory life
insurance coverage of RS 48 LAKH for the duration of their commitment period in
the Indian Armed Forces.
During this period of service to the nation, the AGNIVERS will be transmitted by
various military skills and experience, discipline, physical form, leadership
qualities, courage and patriotism.
Agneepath Explained
After this four -year stay, the AGNVEERS will be infused in civil society where
they can be greatly contributed to the process of building the nation. The skills
acquired by each AGNVEER will be recognized in a certificate to be part of its
single CV.
The Agniveers, at the end of the four-year term as part of their youth, will be ripe
and self-discipline with the realization of becoming a better version of itself / itself
both professionally as personally.
The avenues and the opportunities that will open up to their progress in the civil
world after the agent’s mandate would certainly be a great advantage towards
national construction.
The “Seva Nidhi” of approximately Rs 11.71 Lakh would help the Agniveer to
continue his future dreams without financial pressure, which is normally the case
for young people from the company’s financially deprived of the company.
Individuals, selected for registration in the armed forces as ordinary executives,
should be used for a new 15 -year engagement period and would be governed
by the existing terms and conditions of service of officers / other ranks of the
army army Indian in the ancients of the Indian army and their equivalent in the
Indian navy and the Indian air forces and that of the non-combatants registered
with the Indian Air Force, as modified from time to time.
Terms & Conditions
As part of the Agnipath program, the AgniVers will be registered with the forces
under respective service laws for a period of four years. They would form a
distinct rank in the armed forces, different from any other existing rank.
At the completion of four years of service, on the basis of organizational
requirements and policies promulgated by the armed forces from time to time,
the AGNIVERS will be offered the possibility of requesting permanent inscriptions
in the armed forces.
These applications will be taken into account centrally on the basis of objective
criteria, including performance during their four -year engagement period and up
to 25% of each specific batch of AGNIVERS will be registered in a regular
framework armed forces. Detailed directives will be published separately.
The selection will be the exclusive jurisdiction of the armed forces. 46,000
AGNVEERS will be recruited this year.
Registration will be undertaken through an online centralized system for the three
services with specialized rallies and interviews on the campus from recognized
technical institutes such as industrial training institutes and the framework of
national skills qualifications , among others.
The registration will be based on the basis of “all of India the whole class” and
the eligible age will be compressed from 17.5 to 21 years. The AGNIVERS will
fulfill the medical eligibility conditions established for registration for the armed
forces, according to the respective categories / transactions.
The educational qualification for the Agniveers will remain as in vogue for
registration in various categories. {For example: for the entry into the general
soldier (GD), educational qualification is class 10).
Agneepath scheme issues
Despite the assertions that the Agnipath program will offer young people a
unique opportunity to serve their country, which will contribute to national
development, demonstrations have emerged in India against the plan.

reduces the operational efficiency of our armed forces,” tweeted Rahul Gandhi, a
member of the opposition. “The government of the BJP must stop compromising
the dignity, traditions, value and discipline of our forces.”
Massive demonstrations, for example, in Bihar and Rajasthan, occur, with people
crying slogans against the Agnipath scheme as well as demonstrations. The
army aspirants disrupted rail traffic and the road to the Bihar, and these
demonstrations have now taken a violent turn. Thursday, people against the
program burned tires, vandalized the bushes and set fire to the trains.
