intimidating which is what the artist would want to
portray. With direct address it gives the audience a bad
boy image also with piercing eyes.
Rihanna is in the R&B industry. She fits in the
stereotypical look of an R&B artist as in the Mise En
Scene she is smoking drugs and has tattoos. She is also
coming across as a sexual icon as she has lots of bare skin

lightened her skin colour, which could cause controversy as
