1. Food Sensitivity Varies by Country
In the United States, people suffer from the common food allergies such as milk, egg, or
fish. But new research suggests that people who live in a foreign country do not share the
common food allergies that the U.S. has. The most common are hazelnuts, peaches,
shrimp, or wheat. Researchers think different diets affect this outcome.
What can you do if you have a food allergy?
o Avoid said food until you see the doctor.
o If you have mild reaction, an over the counter antihistamines may help.
o If a severe reaction such as anaphylaxis (having trouble breathing), find
emergency help right away.
