I joined the company in August 2007, as the Legal Affairs
Manager and Deputy Legal Director, reporting directly to
the Legal Director.
In my role as Legal Manager:
 handling all the responsibilities of the activities of
the legal department by setting the strategies that
comply with the Egyptian Law and at the same
time support the achievements of the corporate
objectives by maintaining and developing the legal
services, promoting improvements in the range
and quality of services provided, encouraging swift
and fair resolution of disputes and ensuring that
the services provided in relation to any matter are
appropriate having regard to its nature and priority.
 Ensuring the update of the company
management with all new legislations that directly
or indirectly affect the business by drafting
recommended language for new or amended laws
to be introduced to the concerned parties
 Directing the operation of all legal activities and
legal personnel in the company and ensuring the

policy.
 Coordinating legal services and communicating
with corporate legal department abroad.
 Participating and providing counsel to the different
company departments in terms of all legal issues
by maintaining constant and effective relationship
with governmental authorities, courts, Investment
Authority, etc

Counsel, reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, then after
his departure in 2006 I was reporting to the Middle East
and Africa General Counsel based in Dubai.

bouncing cheques).
• Ensuring Compliance with Local Regulations and
International Policies.
