MISSION STATEMENT
The provision of litigation, drafting and dispute resolution legal services, with a specialisation in
the area of Labour and Employment Law, as well as Human Resources support.
Our niche practice focuses on providing a specialised and personal approach to our clients and
their needs. We believe in building long-term relationships, with a view to better understanding
our client’s needs, and have serviced certain of our clients for more than 10 years.

With over 20 years’ experience in the field of Labour Relations and Employment Law, Futcher
Attorneys offers its proficient expertise and personalized services to various individuals, unions

Employment Act, the Labour Relations Act, the Employment Equity Act and the Companies
Act.

3. Chairing of Internal Disciplinary Enquiries and providing written findings and accompanying
suspension and/or termination letters, as well as the drafting of relevant documentation and
provision of advice in respect of preparation for procedural correctness.
4. Assistance, advice and attendance in respect of all disputes in local and national forums,
including the CCMA, Bargaining Councils, the Labour Court, the High Court and the
Supreme Court of Appeal.

5. Provision of advice in respect of labour issues related to operational requirements,
misconduct, incapacity issues and general compliance with relevant legislation.
Commercial Law Services:-
1. The drafting of and advising on commercial contracts such as Memorandums of
Incorporations, Shareholders Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Contracting and
Sub-Contracting Agreements and various other related commercial contracts;
2. Advising on transactions and business structures; and
3. Commercial litigation in the High Court.

PRO-BONO
Futcher Attorneys is amongst the various Firms of Attorneys and Corporations offering on-site
assistance and relief in respect of the on-going Pro-Bono Project offered by the Labour Court
KwaZulu-Natal.
As a member of SASLAW Futcher Attorneys is committed to the Pro-Bono Project run by Pro-
Bono.org and is similarly associated with the Law Clinic at UKZN in developing skills to benefit
the less privileged.
