Life Education Mobile Classroom Coming to Hill
What an excellent learning opportunity for
students. As part of our Health and Physical
Education curriculum, we are really pleased
that one of the popular Life Education Trust
mobile classrooms will be visiting Hill over
the next 3 weeks with their mascot Harold the
giraffe. All our students will have the
opportunity to visit this unit for a series of
interactive lessons aimed at their Year level
and based on the curriculum. Why is the Life
Education programme important?
It supports students to develop life skills
It encourages students to make healthy choices
Students gain knowledge about health and their bodies
Students develop self esteem and a positive understanding of themselves
Students develop strategies for relating to others
You are welcome to check out the Life Education website:www.lifeeducation.org.nz
The site includes lots of information for families and also has a kids zone for
students.
Because we will use school funding to reduce costs, the charge per student will
be $3.00 which covers all the interactive sessions.
It’s helpful if money can be sent in a named envelope with “Life Education” on the
outside.
