POEM

1. Crisscross
Crawling through the tricky spots,
My spirit not knowing why.
A Railroad sits in front of me,
Two lines before my eyes.
Knowing where the mystery begins,
As the Falcons flies the sky.
I raised my hands to my Father,
The prayer before I die.
The air was very hot,
The ground was very dry.
My lantern is not burning,
I do not walk at night.
They say the government is living,
But evil made them lie.
I'm stuck in the Everglades,
As the lion hunts by pride.
I worked my years for a psychiatrist,
For my disordered mind.
Now I'm on this highway,
Two rails before my eyes.
I worked to make a living,
To broke to buy a car.
A train will always journey,
But they would not tell me why.
So I stand and wonder,
About this train ride.
An easy way to travel,
Do not have to spend a dime.
The government says I'm lazy,
I do not work to lose my dime.
They say I must pay them taxes,
Hey bro I'm 65.
My friends they are all like me,
They see the Railroad tracks before their eyes.
Too poor to buy an auto,
Too broke to spend their dime.
A train will always journey,
Goodbye to the social life.

2. Crisscross on this double line.
Crisscross I do not know why.
I worked to pay the doctor,
So I can live my life.
To see two rails before me,
What a way to die.
Crisscross, this train must stop.
Lord please forgive me,
The way I live my life.
I'm dressed like a wino,
Too broke to buy a tie.
That's the way they made me,
And the railroad tracks before my eyes.
