1. BioOutsource Announces Gerry MacKay as CEO
13th July 2009 Glasgow, Scotland- BioOutsource Ltd. announced today that Gerry
MacKay has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Gerry comes to BioOutsource
after spending 22 years in various senior management positions in the Biotechnology,
Pharmaceutical and Semiconductor industries.
After joining Millipore in 1987, Gerry progressed to run various operations in Europe, Asia and North America before
being appointed General Manager of all Millipore operations in Asia in 1999. In 2002 Gerry was part of the Executive
team who spun a new company Mykrolis out of Millipore in an IPO on NYSE. Gerry then held a number of Executive
and General Management positions for Mykrolis and Entegris in both the US and Asia before returning home to
Scotland with his family in 2008.
