Kamila lives with her grandmother and discovers she has a mysterious marking on her wrist from birth. On her 16th birthday, she decides to search for her parents, but her grandmother reveals they are dead. Kamila realizes she is being watched by two men in black and learns the marking means she is from a special tribe with healing powers, though others believe it is a curse. Her grandmother explains Kamila's mother also had the marking.

A little girl called Kamila lived with her grandma
Bella and she has no parents or any other siblings.
One day when Kamila realised that she had a
strange marking in her wrist. It was tattoo or
something engraved into her skin. She has always
had this since she w as a baby and didn’t know why
she had this. Kamila wondered about this and
wanted to know what it was. On Kamila turned
sixteen years old she decided it was the right time to
go and search for her parents. Still believing the fact
that her parents are alive, her grandma Bella
stopped her and told her that her parents were
dead. Grandma Bella started to cry as she had kept
in her tears and emotions since they passed away.
She realised that her granddaughter would grow up
without a mum, her daughter. While Kamila was in
school she realised that there were two men
dressed in black who were looking for her. She tried
hiding and ignoring them. She was worried that they
might do something to her grandma Bella. I t soon
occurred to her that she was only a few people in
the world with the strange markings. Her grandma
Bella didn’t hav e one but her grandma told her that
her mum did that’s how she got hers. Her grandma
explained to her that people who are after her
believe that she curses people but really she
doesn’t and her can’t. The only problem w as that
the marking meant that she w as from a ‘special’
