This document discusses the pros and cons of three potential short film ideas: Kamila and Grandma Bella, Toby the Ghost and Sophie, and Liam and Eve. For each idea, it lists pros such as having a low budget, being able to find necessary locations and cast, and cons like films being too far away, unable to find certain actors, or locations being difficult to secure. It concludes by proposing to go forward with the idea "A Misunderstanding Dream" as it involves teenagers and may appeal to audiences ages 12 to 25.
Compare Short Film Ideas Pros and Cons Budget Locations Casting
1. Pros and cons
Kamila and Grandma Bella
Pros:
The budget would be good because I can sort the costuming and props
out.
Don’t know anyone old to make the ‘grandma Bella’ cast
Cons:
Too far away. Won’t be able to find a village
Need big bad looking people (won’t be able to find any)
Toby the ghost and Sophie
Pros:
I can sort the editing out to make it look good.
I could have made scenes inside a house, but just make the room look
dark.
Cons:
Won’t be able to find a little girl or a boy.
I won’t be able to find a big forest with a big castle.
Liam and Eve
Pros:
The budget will be just about under £10.00 this is because not much
money will be spent.
2. I was thinking of doing a shoot in the hospital if I get permission. Some
parts of the scenes is going to be in the ‘actors/actresses’ house.
Cons:
Need older actors, not many people would want to get involved.
Location: hospital may be tricky to get into. If they are able to let us film.
The idea I want to go through with is the movie name ‘a
misunderstanding dream’ because I think this is something that people
would want to watch as this is to do with teenagers and ages between
12 to 25 year olds they may like that. This ‘movie’ is something I think
would be good.
