of these are based in the south of England, with the largest proportion some 38% - in London and the South East. The rest of the workforce is

regions of England, with the highest concentrations in the South West
(13%) and the East of England (12%).

equipment. Its headquarters are located in Ōta, Tokyo, Japan
• Nikon Corporation, is a Japanese multinational corporation headquartered
in Tokyo, Japan, specializing in optics and imaging products. Its products
include cameras, camera lenses, binoculars, microscopes, measurement
instruments, and the steppers used in the photolithography steps of
semiconductor fabrication, of which it is the world's second largest
manufacturer.

• Nikon was founded in Tokyo, Japan(July 25, 1917). The Key People in Nikon
was Michio Kariya who was served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief
Operating Officer of Nikon Corporation. Mr. Kariya served as President of
Nikon Corp. until June 2010 and also served as its Executive Vice President
• Canon was founded by Takeshi Mitarai, Goro Yoshida, Saburo Uchida and
Takeo Maeda. The key people in Canon was Fujio Mitarai who is the
chairman of Canon He studied Law at Chuo University, and was President
