a very important convention because having a paragraph at the beginning of the article allows
the reader to know what the story is about. After they have read the paragraph they’ll know
whether they want to continue reading or stop if it’s no interest to them.This conventions is
also similar to headlines. Headlines sum up the article in a few words.They’re extremely helpful
because people can read the headline and they’ll instantly know whether that’s the article that
they wanted to read.
