Abstract
A short,funnycomedysetina classroomsetin a classroom, where acharacter isin a detention,
tryingto complete hiswork.Howeverabullykeepsteasinghimandthisleadestothe character
creatingthe geneiusideatoseta trap. Will itbackfire orwill he gethissweetrevenge.
Synopsis
The short filmwill beginwiththe maincharactersittingona deskstuckin a classroomwithtwo
otherstudents.The word“detention”writtenonthe teacherboardwhere the teacherisshoutingat
himthat he can leave whenhe finisheshiswork.The teacherthensaysthattheywill have 1hour to
finishtheirwork.The maincharactersitsand beginstowrite hiswork.The bullybehindhimisbored
and thenhe shufflestowardsthe otherstudentonhisleftandstartsto shuffle hisdesktowardsthe
studentwhilstlookingattheirwork,the studentnotices andcoversitsohe can’t see itanymore.He
can’t see ithe sighsand movesback.25 minuteslaterappearsonthe screenandthe Legomain
character isstill writing.The bullymeanwhilegoesonhisphone andbeginstotextloudlyandthe
maincharacter tellshimtobe quiet,the bullythenfeelsabitpeckishandgoesinhisdeskand starts
eatingfoodhiddenunderhisdesk.He isnoisyandthe maincharacter tellshimtobe quiet.The bully
thengrabs a straw fromhisdesktakesthe paperfrom hisdesk andmakesa paper spitball butas he
goesto blowit,the ball hitsthe character on the head. The maincharacter thenhas a geniusidea
he beginstomake a trap,the maincharacter thenbeginstocreate a trap. The maincharacter asks
to go to the binbut whathe reallydoesisbeginstosetuphistrap, before he goestothe bin he
grabs some waterfromhisbag and placesitby the teachersdeskonhisway to the bin.He goesback
to hisdeskand sitsthere. 35 minslaterappearsonthe screenand the teachergetsup to announce
to themthat theycan leave butshe slipsandfallsonthe floor.The teachergetsup andblamesthe
bullytellingthe bullytostaythere andletsthe maincharacter go,as he leaveshe laughsashe got
hisrevenge.The filmendswiththe bulliesheadonthe desk.

The subjectof my filmisabouta Legobrickcharacter in detentionandhow he passesthe time.The
filmwill have aminimumamountof characters.
Characters
The firstcharacter in myfilmisa teenagerwhogotstuck indetention,the secondcharacterisa Lego
teacherand the twoothercharacters are studentswhoare inthe same detention.
Setting
The set will be aprintout of a classroom and the 3D objectswill be made outof Lego.

The benefitsof choosingthisisthatI have multiplepiecesof Legotocreate the film. The limitation
isthat I won’thave a lot of time and itwill take agesto take everyshot.
Exploitingthe format.
The potential of thisformatis reallyuseful asthe Legocharacterswill keepstill whereasreal people
may notbe able todue to tiredness.
Sound Design
The majorityof the soundwill be diegeticasIwant itto be natural,the character will be unaudible
and justspeakwithgrunts and moans.
Audience
My stopmotionanimationwillbe aimedatanyone overtenasit isa comedyandI wanteveryone to
enjoyit.
