Picture 2:Hitler is being a politician and “kissing babies” trying to win the approval of his soon to be
subjects.
Picture 3: They are fighting for civil rights. There are African Americans. Maybe a police fight that
went wrong. The dogs are going crazy.
Picture 4: The black man is hanging by a rope off of the arm of the statue of liberty.
Picture 5: These people are looking forward to coming to America and being free.
Picture 6: The doctors are checking these future immigrants for lice and other diseases that they
could potentially bring into the country.
What message do you think the photographer was trying to convey?
