2. The Bermuda Triangle or Devil's Triangle
is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of
the United States of America
3. Some people trace the Bermuda Triangle history back
to the time of Columbus. Estimates range from about
200 to about 1,000 incidents of ships and airplanes
disappearing in the past 500 years.
It was in 1952, when the author George Sand first
mentioned about the Bermuda triangle in a
magazine calledFate
7. Santa Maria
The first ship and crew to go into the Bermuda Triangle
was the Santa Maria with the crew of Christopher
Columbus, (40 crewmen) with the ships Pinta and Nina
holding 20 and 30 crewmen. He went in the Bermuda
Triangle Sargasso Sea on Sunday the 23rd of
September, 1492.
8. USS Cyclops
This navy ship disappeared resulting in the single largest loss
of life in the history of the US Navy.
It went missing without a trace with a crew of 309 souls
It disappeared on March 4th 1918
10. The Ellen Austin supposedly
came across a derelict ship,
placed on board a prize
crew, and attempted to sail
with it to New York in 1881.
According to the stories, the
derelict disappeared.

The USS Scorpion was a nuclear powered attack submarine of the
United States Navy that also disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle
in May 1968.
12. The Sea Venture
The Sea Venture was actually very famous back
in its time. It was the first boat that brought
settlers to the island Bermuda.
13. The Cristobal Colon.
The Cristobal Colon was famous for
being one of the most largest boats that
sank in bermuda waters. It was 499 feet
long and three decks high, it could held
344 passengers when it sunk.
14. (And final boat) The constellation
The Constellation sunk on july 30th,1943. It was sold to the
director of jaws and was in the movie.
15. SS Marine Sulphur Queen :
T2 tanker ship converted to
carrying molten sulphur,
noted for its disappearance in
1963 near the southern coast of
Florida, taking the lives of 39
crewmen.

As the crew members of the Valencia struggled to escape the sinking ship,
they hastily deployed six lifeboats. In the chaos, they frantically lowered three
full of men, but on the way down, each tipped, causing all the men to plunge
into the water. Three of the lifeboats were successfully set onto the water, but
two subsequently capsized, and one was never seen again.
