from reading, class discussions and researching history topics on your own. Although portions of class
may include a lecture, a significant number of class periods will be devoted to class discussions.
Therefore you are expected to read the assigned material prior to arriving in class, prepare a list of
questions about the topic, and participate in class discussions. Information on assignments, including
due dates and requirements, will become available during the semester.
GRADING:
Midterm Exam = 30%
Class Participation = 20%
Final Exam & Presentation = 50%
