Choose a piece of children's/adolescent media from any era and analyze it for the various messages that were communicated to a young audience. Remember: the historical context of when your piece of media was made will be essential to your analysis. Your task will be to look back at the media that shaped your childhood, and look past the nostalgia, to come to a media literate critique of your chosen production. Make sure and give specific examples from the production .

Case Study : Data-Driven Transformation of Springfield's Police Force Springfield, Virginia in the United States of America has been collecting data on the crimes that have been occurring in the city boundaries between 1998 and 2019. The data includes details on the offender, the nature of the crime, the location of the crime, and further details. The dataset contains over 23,000 instances of crimes which have occurred. Due to increasing negative media attention, there is a growing perception by the citizens of Springfield that they are no longer safe. They are starting to complain and resent the elected officials. Because next year is an election year, the Mayor, Mayor Jones, is growing increasingly concerned about the social welfare of the citizens she is responsible for. Mayor Jones has previously delegated the responsibility of the crime portfolio to her police chief, Chief Odinson. It is Chief Odinson's responsibility to run the entire police force across the areas within Springfield: Central Springfield (postal code: 22150), North Springfield (postal code: 22151), and West Springfield (postal code: 22152). Mayor Jones organised to meet with Chief Odinson to gather the information she needed to transform the city. When she met with Chief Odinson, the Chief was perplexed, he was unsure on how to gather the information the Mayor required. The Chief did know that the police officers in each precinct within each area completed reports about every case (some initiated by the victim, others by witnesses). He also knew that the data on the reports was inputted into an Excel file. Yet, he was not sure on how to extract what he needed from the data file. Recognising his uncertainty and wanting to provide the necessary information to the Mayor, Chief Odinson decided to hire your team of consultants to see how they can best leverage the data that the Chief had access to. Yet, rather than just finding the information to assist Mayor Jones, the Chief decided to take this opportunity to improve how he manages the police. He also met with Police Officer, Sergeant Steve Rogers to see if there is anything data-related that could help the Sergeant perform his duties. Sergeant Rogers informed the Chief that many of his fellow police officers of the Springfield Police Department required more information to understand the nature of the crimes in the area, so that they can be better equipped to respond. You are required to identify a data-driven approach to provide insights in the form of a digital dashboard to assist the following stakeholders: Mayor Jones - to improve societal issues surrounding crimes (focus on all suburbs overall). Chief Odinson - to manage the Springfield Police Department in Central Springfield, North Springfield, and West Springfield (compare the three suburbs). Sergeant Rogers - to be more informed of the crimes in the local areas (focus on one suburb only). 1: Identify one problem area in the data and describe how the digital dashbo.

Can you please help me answer these two multiple choice questions? Thank you. Review the abstract from the provided Nummela et al. 2004 reading. Which of the following is the best description of the topic given in the abstract? (copy of the abstract below:) "The origin of whales (order Cetacea) is one of the best-documented examples of macroevolutionary change in vertebrates. As the earliest whales became obligately marine, all of their organ systems adapted to the new environment. The fossil record indicates that this evolutionary transition took less than 15 million years, and that different organ systems followed different evolutionary trajectories. Here we document the evolutionary changes that took place in the sound transmission mechanism of the outer and middle ear in early whales. Sound transmission mechanisms change early on in whale evolution and pass through a stage (in pakicetids) in which hearing in both air and water is unsophisticated. This intermediate stage is soon abandoned and is replaced (in remingtonocetids and protocetids) by a sound transmission mechanism similar to that in modern toothed whales. The mechanism of these fossil whales lacks sophistication, and still retains some of the key elements that land mammals use to hear airborne sound." can someome please write the init method please This interface defines the following methods. void init(String filePath, String fileName); This method should deserialize the data stored at the supplied filePath + fileName location into a list of Linkedln users. If there is no previously saved data, then this method should initialize a new list of Linkedln users. Depending on how you implement this method, you may find that the other methods defined on this interface may need access to the supplied filePath, fileName, and to the list of Linkedln users that is created by this method. If that is the case, then it is recommended that you set these values as properties on the implementing class. See the SerializedUserRepository code snippet below for an example on setting these values as properties of the class. void add(LinkedinUser user) throws LinkedinException; This method ensures that the supplied user is ready to be added to the user repository and, if so, adds the user to the list of users established from the init method. If the user name and user type are not supplied, throw a new LinkedInException with the message, "The user name and type are required to add a new user." Valid user types are either ' P ' for premier or ' S ' for standard. If the user type is invalid, throw a new LinkedlnException with the message, "Invalid user type. Valid types are P or S." If the supplied user already exists, throw a new LinkedInException with the message, "A user already exists with that user name." If the supplied user is ready to be added, add it to the list and call the saveAll() method to save the data. .

Case \#2: Royal Bank of Canada v. Head West Energy Inc., 2007 ABQB 154 (CanLII), 75 Alta. L.R. (4th) 263 Harrison Western Canadian Inc. leased several trailers from Wells Fargo Equipment Finance Company. These leases were registered as secured transactions under the Alberta Personal Property Security Act in April and May of 2004 against Harrison Western Canadian Inc. at the appropriate registry. In July of that year Harrison Western changed its name to Head West. Subsequently, Head West became indebted to the Royal Bank, which secured that indebtedness with a general claim against the company's assets and registered that secured claim under the P.P.S.A. at the appropriate registry. Head West became insolvent and was taken over by a receiver, and the trailers were sold for $401760 . Both Wells Fargo and the Royal Bank claimed those funds. .

The mechanism of these fossil whales lacks sophistication, and still retains some of the key elements that land mammals use to hear airborne sound." Mechanisms of sound transmission in whales Sound transmission in aquatic vertebrates Macroevolution of sensory structures The outer and middle ear in early whales Question 2 (Mandatory) (2 points) Retake question The thesis of an abstract expands on the topic by stating the purpose of the paper. can someome please write the init method please This interface defines the following methods. void init(String filePath, String fileName); This method should deserialize the data stored at the supplied filePath + fileName location into a list of Linkedln users. Valid types are P or S." If the supplied user already exists, throw a new LinkedInException with the message, "A user already exists with that user name." If the supplied user is ready to be added, add it to the list and call the saveAll() method to save the data. .

Meanwhile, the simultaneous occurrence of multiple melodic lines can create a more intricate and complex musical structure that challenges the listener's ear and engages their attention.
