The Space Software Lab (SSLab) was formally established as a sub-group of the Space Club OAU to facilitate software development learning for members. SSLab's mission is to make Space Club OAU a software development hub, keep members engaged in projects, and build a student developer community. So far, SSLab has built an International Space Station real-time tracker app, kickstarted development of the club's website, and organized a meetup. Future plans include more meetups, partnerships with tech companies, involvement in open source projects, and completing 3 software projects and the club website.

So far it has been serving majorly to facilitate learning for members interested
in becoming a programmer.
