Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1970 consisting of 5 members: Tom Hamilton on bass from Colorado Springs, Joey Kramer on drums from New York, Joe Perry on guitar from Lawrence, Massachusetts, Steven Tyler on vocals from New York, and Brad Whitford on guitar from Winchester, Massachusetts. Some of their hit songs from the 1970s include "Make It", "Dream On", "Moving Out", and "Sweet Emotion". By the 1990s, Aerosmith had re-established themselves as one of the premier rock bands and proved their ability to succeed despite challenges.
