The document describes the steps taken to develop a magazine front cover. First, an image was cut out and text was added using editing tools. Next, banners were added to the top and bottom of the page with additional information. Images were then placed down the left side to entice readers. A large headline was placed over a featured artist image. Finally, a tagline was added in the top right corner to intrigue readers. Overall, the creator was happy with the professional look and feel of the finished magazine cover.

2. Firstly I got my chosen image and cut it out using the magnetic tool. Then I used a font from ‘dafont’ and edited it using the cut out tool so there wasn’t a white background behind the text.

3. Next I added a banner at the top of the page, including new artists to entice the reader. I also made a small tagline underneath the name of the magazine. Then I added a banner at the bottom with the words in a large font; “PLUS!” to make it seem as thought there was a lot artists being featured in the magazine. I then added a barcode, price and date at the bottom right of the magazine.

4. I then added a ‘Reading poster special’ with images down the side of the page on the left, I like the way this turned out as the images I have taken look very professional and make the reader want to buy the magazine. I then added the big headline over the image of ‘Ben Boot’ in white so it stood out.

5. Lastly I added a little tag line in the top right of the page saying “Look what I’ve found” it will intrigue the reader and make them wonder what he’s talking about. Overall I am very happy with the way my magazine has turned out and think it has a professional look to it.
