Hiker Nob stands on a ridge of Mt. Moon and sees various Pokemon like Geodude and Clefairy. Suddenly, a large Onix bursts from the mountain and Nob gives chase, sliding down the mountain tracks. He battles Zubats and Geodudes as he follows the Onix deep into the cave. When he reaches the bottom, Nob sends out his Amipom, Moe, to battle Onix. After Moe weakens it with Iron Tail, Nob catches the Onix in an experimental Dusk Ball. He emerges from the cave with some scratches but proud of his new capture, remarking that it was just another day's work for Hiker Nob.

1. -1Chapter 1
quot;I stand tall on a ridge of Mt.Moon, take deep breaths of the fresh country air. A pallet of bird pokémon
fly over my head. The eyes of a Geodude peer up at me, hoping I leave him undisturbed. I see a crack
in the mountain, in which I look to see a family of Clefaries caring for their youngling. It melts my
heart like butter but, it doesn't last for long. A sudden rumble shakes the mountain, a grand Onix shoots
out the mountain and then back into the hill's rocky core. Like a caterpillar though the sweet oak leaf.
Pokéball in hand, I dive after him.
I struggle to keep my girp as I slide down the tracks of the mighty rock python. I know full well that
one false move down here and my rear is going to be wheelchair-bound. Zubats fly at my face,
Geodudes unearth underneath me and I carry on, knowing in the end my prize shall be worth it. I reach
the bottom of the passage seeing the fine beast awaiting my arrival. I launch the Pokéball in the air to
unviel, Moe the Amipom. Just by the look in my eyes he knows what to do. He scuttles up the Onixs,
clinging on as the snake barges and smashes to attempt to remove him from his body. Moe battles on
and is soon enough at the head of the Onix. 'Iron Tail!' I cry and not a second after I call it Moe delivers
a tremendous smash to the head of the Onix, shooting its head to the floor. Onix now angry as ever
lunges at Moe, although Moe dives out the way and lets Onix smash acorss the floor. I pull out my bag
the experimental 'Dusk Ball'. I thorw it at the Onix and wait nervously for him to be sealed. To this day
I'm still amazed how they fit such an immense creature into a ball of such small size.
I climb out the cave with a few scratches on me, spit on the floor, look at my new Onix in my hand and
say to myself; 'Just another day as Hiker Nob'.quot;
