The 5th International Conference on Envirotech, Cleantech and Greentech was held on September 1-2, 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey and hosted by the World Association for Scientific Research and Technical Innovation. The conference brought together many international delegates from various countries to discuss major issues like evaluating antagonistic activity against plant diseases and assessing heavy metals in power plant waste water. Best paper awards were given including one for a paper on quantitative assessment of heavy metals in coal-fired power plant waste water. Rouag Noureddine for paper titled ‘Evaluation of the antagonistic activity of Pseudomonas and
Bacillus against Fusarium wilt of chickpea (Fusariumoxysporum f. sp. ciceris)’ Affiliated to Department of
Agronomy, Faculty of Nature and life Sciences, University Ferhat Abbas Sétif-1, Algeria.
Best paper awards are given in each GRDS International Conference to the participants with best scholarly
paper submitted and presented at the conference. In this conference, Best Paper Award was given to paper
“Quantitative Assessment of Heavy Metals in Coal-Fired Power Plants Waste Water” submitted by Fahad
Haneef (Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus (METU NCC), Kalkanli, Guzelyurt, Mersin
