How to get Spanish university
   students to sign up to
        Enternships?
Let's see who is studying at
University in Spain and where?
There are 76 Universities in Spain*
           http://universidad.es/es/universidades
During 2011 was 1.455.855 spanish
       students at University

 88,2% were in Public Universities
   11,8% in private Universities

the number of students at University
        increased in 2011

             + 3,1 %
where are the students?
• Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED)
  166.420
• Universidad Complutense de Madrid (71.025)
• Universidad de Sevilla (59.433)
• Universidad de Granada (57.142)

14% of the students attend to Distance Universities
220.583 students finished University in
                 2011

the majority of them finish at the age of 21
and after their studies...
the difficulty of finding a qualified job in
Spain encourges most of the new
graduates to do a master degree
During 2011 were imparted more than
   2930 Master Degree in Spanish
            Universities
      +670 courses than 2010

108.433 spanish students took a Master
             Degree in 2011
           + 29,5% than 2010

8/10 students took a Master Degree in a
            Public University
What do students want?
Most of the students are asking for
 previous experience when they apply
for a job, but just a few of them has job
                experience.

 The number of unemployment young
people is increasing because of the
           financial situation
without job nor exprience...

     some students go abroad

and some of them start a new studies
How can Enternships help these
         students?
• All Universities in Spain have an empolyment service
to help students to find a job/internship
• Some companies offer to these employment services
internships for university studies. Nevertheless, the
big number of students in Spain and the lack of jobs is
  the big problem.
• Most of the students who get an internship is because
they ask personally to the company.
Nowadays there is no a meeting point
for youg people to find a job
                opportunity
• Although there are different projects, none of them is
specialising in offering advise to the students to get job
  experience.
• Enternships can become the first meeting point
for all all students and all Universities in Spain.
before Enternships...
...after Enternships
How to become
Enternships the link among
  Universities, Students,
     Companies, and
     Administration?
The answer is the students
let's create Enternships in Spain

• we will choose a delegate for Enternships in every
University of Spain. Its commitment will be to collect as
much information as possible of job vacancies that its
University and companies in their zone are offering.
• this role will be an internship and students can get job
  experience
• also, this action can be used to show the society how we are
helping young people to start their careers. So that we can
  get media coverage
• Once we get a group of students working in every
university, we we can start using online social
networks to inform students about job vacancies and
  information about their Universities.
• we can use the most important online social networks in
Spain to talk about what are the job vacancies in the
different Universities, advices, and stories about students.
With these actions we can obtain more traffic to our
website. Also, in order to have our own space, we can
create a blog to talk about ourselves in Spain.
• Media coverage: we need to become 'famous'. Our
presence in traditional media, in order to get more
attention, can focus on the problems of young people
when they apply for a job in Spain. Every month, when the
Spanish government announces the number of
unemployment people, we can send a press release to
the media whit our point of view. Also, we can send
information about our projects (internships in Spanish
Universities) and our leader, Rajeeb Dey.
• In order to get more attention from the media, young
people and administration, we can organise meetings with
relevant young people who can talk about their
experiences and encourage students to start up their own
careers. We can make a meeting every month in the
most important Universities and discuss how to young
people can create new business and employ
marketing campaign

 • We can create a campaign in which we ask University
Students which are their dreams and how are they going
   to approach them.

The name of the campaign can be 'Yo emprendo', which
means 'I start up'

marketing campaign
• guerrilla marketing: we can ask to our enternships
delegates in each university to post different ads in their
cities and university places. In this ads we can ask to the
students if they 'are ready for start up'. We can put some
ads inside books of Univesity libraries during periods of
  exams (february-June)IE.
Dates

• We can start the campaign next February or May.
These asre the two busiest months for students as
they are studying, but this is the moment they spend
more time in Universities as well. Any campaign after
June will be a failure as the university finish in this
  month.
Staff and Budget required for 6 months
                 campaign
• media coverage:a press department (2 internships)
where we can manage all the media coverage of
Enternships (the internships can be paid or not)
• delegates of enternship in Universities (we can hire
  them as internships)
• Social Media Management (to ensure our presence on
  Internet)
• Marketing department: responsible for creative
  work, communication strategy, organisation of
events, control of activities and different teams.
• most of the actions will be on social media channels
and through word-of-mouth marketing, so that we will
  no spend so much money.
