Logo Analysis<br />I have chosen the Monster Energy logo; I like it because it looks like an ‘M’ and it also looks as if a monster has scratched through something<br />When was it first created?<br />It was created in 2002 and launched by Hansen Natural<br />How has it developed?<br />It hasn’t really the logo has always been the same which is a good idea because the logo will be more recognisable<br />What is the brand meaning? – has this developed/changed through its lifestyle?<br />The brand meaning is an energy drink given the name monster as a kind of pun to let you unleash the beast inside you<br />Are there any interesting facts about your chosen logo?<br />Monster energy has sponsored many events and bands like the Vans Warped Tour in America and lots of sports events<br />Compare it to those in the same market – how does it differentiate itself?<br />Monster energy has its own original look, red bull looks a bit bland plus it tastes great too<br />What is the brand portfolio?<br />How does the brand market itself?<br />The brand markets itself by using sex appeal like vehicles and women <br />Does the brand sponsor anyone/anything and if so what does this say about the brand?<br />The brand sponsors many musicians/bands and sportsmen and sportswomen, this says that the brand are for physically active people and people who do daring things to give the product a more ‘badass’ look<br />Is it a global product? – is the meaning the same globally or has it had to change its name?<br />Yes it is a global product, and it has the same name throughout the world<br />
