RE: NATIONALIZATION SCHEME TRAINING FOR COUNCIL EXECUTIVES
DATE: JANUARY 9, 2012
We are drawing close to the implementation of the Nationalization Scheme. The scheme intends
to promote and maintain responsible council governance to insure continuing relevance in
achieving the GSP vision and mission. With the very significant role that the Council Executives
will play in the operationalization of the scheme, we deem it necessary to hold a
Nationalization Scheme Training for Council Executives. The training aims to develop and design
a Council Executive’s Roadmad which will facilitate work performance in partnership with the
Council President and Council Board under the said scheme.
Below are the training details:
Date/Venue
Luzon Group (Northern Luzon, Central Luzon and Southern Luzon Regions)
- February 3-6
- Helena Z Benitez National Program and Training Center, Tagaytay City
Visayas-Mindanao Group (Visayas, Eastern Mindanao and Western Mindanao Regions)
- March 1-4
- Alano Regional Program and Training Center, Davao City
Participants have to go on their own to and from the venue. They are expected to arrive in the
morning of Day 1 and leave in the afternoon of Day 4.

Meals
The training is inclusive of meals. First meal is a.m. snacks of Day 1 and last meal is lunch of Day 4.
Other incidental meal expenses shall be borne by the region/council.
Accommodation
A 3-night accommodation at the venue will be provided. An additional 1-night
accommodation after the training shall be extended to participants from the Visayas-Mindanao
group if warranted by their flight/boat trip schedules. Accommodation prior to the training
should be arranged and settled by the concerned region/council directly with the Center.
Things to Bring
Participants are advised to bring along their respective Council Annual Reports for the 1 st and
2nd year of Triennium 2009-2012 and the following items:
Girl Scout uniforms
(Official Business uniform for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Alternate uniform for the Sessions)
GSP fun t-shirts
pants (slacks/jeans/jogging)
smart casual attire
closed black shoes, rubber shoes/walking shoes, bedroom slippers
jacket/sweater, bonnet/cap (optional)
personal belongings, medicines and toiletries
