Editor's Notes
So you heard about the new magic diet pill that is supposed to melt fat away without any exercise or changes to your diet, right? You probably even saw it featured on the doctor oz show. If you didn’t you can click the link below this video to see the whole doctor oz segment. But first, don’t you want to know if it works?
Some of the claims seem out of this world, and the internet always tends to overhype products. so that’s why I’m here. There are a lot of questions about this new diet pill and I’ve scoured the net and done the research to give you the truth.
My name is Matt and I’m the lead reviewer for metareview.com and I found some very interesting things while researching the green coffee bean extract supplements that I know you’ll want to hear about.
First, the claims. They say, and by they I’m talking about Doctor Oz, researchers, and the diet gurus, that the green coffee extract will actually cause you to lose weight without any change to your diet or exercise. In fact they claim that on average, those who took the pills for 22 weeks, lost an average of 10% of their overall body weight and 16% of their bodyfat.
So what did my research turn up? First of all this whole craze started with the research of a naturopathic doctor named lindseyduncan. Dr. Duncan found in a clinical study, which included placebo and standard scientific method, that participants who added PURE green coffee extract to their diets lost on average 17 more pounds then participants who took the placebo.
So how does it work? Well the research papers go into scientific terms but you can boil it down to this. There’s a thing called Chlorogenic Acid which basically prevents your body from converting sugar in your blood stream into unnecessary glucose which feeds fat cells. Meanwhile the chlorogenic acid also boosts your metabolism so that the current fat cells get used up faster than new fat cells can get created.
Research has even shown that there are no negative side affects to taking natural green coffee extract. I’m sure that sounds too good to be true, and that’s exactly my thought as well. So here’s where it gets interesting. I did some digging and wanted to see what actual users of the extract were experiencing. Turns out there are hundreds of real life reviews online that I parsed through. In those real life accounts of supplement takers a small percentage of them experienced side effects like jitters, stomach cramps, and sleeplessness. Personally this is how I feel after too much caffeine myself so I think those results suggests if you are a person who is sensitive to too much caffeine then this is probably not the supplement for you as it would may keep you up at night, literally. Another interesting fact I discovered is not all extracts are created equal…
It turns out that a number of people opted to purchase lower priced or discount brand green coffee bean extract and did NOT have the same weight loss results. I’ve found that the most affective supplement is PURE green coffee extract, emphasis on the pure. If it has additives then you can pretty much forget about it. Of those people who did use the pure extract my personal calculation has shown that at least 3 out of 4 actual users of the green coffee extract experienced weight loss results similar to the claims of 2 pounds per week. The other 25% of takers experienced no additional weight-loss but some of them did claim to see an increase in energy, and only about 3% or so of takers complained of the jittery side-affects.
So in conclusion it looks like there are some very real merits to pure green coffee bean extract and it is worth a shot if you’re trying to lose weight and don’t have time to hit the gym or the self-control to stay on a diet. I give pure green coffee extract as a weight loss supplement 4 and a half stars. If you’d like to see where I recommend buying the extract then click the link below, the provider I found provides only 100% pure extract and often offers free shipping and free trial. Thanks for watching and good luck in your weight loss!
