Editor's Notes
So often as physicians we sit back. We don’t take a stand for what is best for our patients. We camouflage ourselves behind our workload and reimbursement issues. When we should be vocal advocates for what is best for our patients. Recent study demonstrated that profession that lose trust become increasingly regulated and because of reluctance of practicing MDs to get involved we are losing trust.
Long list:
Reflect lack of physician Leadership
Refusal to use generics
Overutilization of imaging
Credentialing
ACA Layered bureaucracy : Developed by academics who had little patient care experience
Patients like telehealth
