-It is important that our “door knocking” knuckles are lined up so that when we get to our contact point, the hitter is able to snap the bat easier throughout the plain of the ball.

-When stepping into the batters’ it is important for the batter to be able to cover the inside and outside corners of the plate.
-Being comfortable in the batters’ box is important.
If the pitcher is slow, the batter may want to move up in the box.
If the pitcher is fast, the batter may want to be in the back of the box.
-If hitting an outside pitch is one of your weaknesses, then crowding plate may be a good idea. If an inside pitch is your weakness, then stepping away from the limit line may be something considered.
