This document lists the advantages and disadvantages of using an electronic journal management system. The advantages are that it allows for easy recording of journal information, saves time over manual records, and takes up less physical space than paper folders. The disadvantages are reliance on electricity and the need for personnel with the necessary computer skills to use the system. It then provides a sample table that could be used to electronically record details about received journals and their distribution to various colleges.
