confirmed then his name should be placed on an amended birth certificate and he should have full
rights then, but he will also have to pay child support. Otherwise in the eyes of the state if his name
is not on the birth certificate then he has no rights unless he takes her to court. If they aren't
married then she is not required to put his name on the birth certificate.
