Challenge 
We have come a long way, great challenge ahead 
The rise of the machines 
A well respected scientist speaks his view – the future of human world will be 2% 
of people control all kinds of machines, and these machines control the rest 98% 
people in miserable. 
The lost of humanity fellowship 
Just go to a store, look at the face of the people. There are less and less 
communications. To the top 2%, the physical presences of our brothers and sisters 
are called human resources.
This, we do. 
Bring back the society we know

Story of Amazon.com 
I was always amazed how Amazon, an online book seller, 
who I think unfairly took the full advantage of bookstores 
and government policies, created the most respectful, 
technology savvy public cloud for all. 
Some people explained that Amazon always wanted to be 
a platform, selling book is just their perfect entry point. 
Take note -- A great vision, and an entry point.
Story of Starbucks 
I do not drink coffee, but I am writing this now in a 
Starbucks store with their tea and a warmed cheese 
danish. 
I only been to a few of Starbucks’ 20,000+ stores around 
the global, but no matter when and where, there is 
always people. 
Take note -- people need a physical place, if you build it 
right, people will come.
Story of friend gathering 
• We like to be in friend’s house. 
– MOST of the time you need arrange ahead. Time is limited. 
• I have a group of friends. 
– WHOSE house we will go THIS time? 
• We have a favor in our group. 
– Too much TROUBLE and BURDEN put up to your favor friend. 
• You want go as you DESIRE, you want to meet WITHOUT headache, you 
want to meet NEW friends, new ideas, new style. 
• We can help.

• Social place, kids’ area 
• Open kitchen, family food, less menu 
• Fixed price, no tip, no tax, no hassle, no rush 
• Bring your own recipe 
• Cook your own food 
• Host your own party 
• A place for people to hang out 
• A place to share information and human power 
• A place for people to connect, find friendship and love 
-- No ordinary diner, thinking how your favor friend’s place should be.
CA (competitive advantage): Food 
• Home style healthy food in a easy to carry plate 
• A typical lunch from Panera Bread cost $8-15. (pic #1) 
• We can do better. 
• Simple, healthy, delicious food. 
• Fresh fruit. 
• Only 2-3 different choice a day. But different each day. 
Rotation monthly. 
• Open recipe. Power of WE. 
• Also, it is never our intention to make a profit from food, 
we can use up the margin. Otherwise we are only doing 
a restaurant and we already failed.
CA: place 
• In most of the restaurant today, it is some tables 
and some chairs. (pic #2 and pic #3) 
• Boring. It is not the future. Tomorrow’s restaurant, 
shopping and social place will be mixing in. 
• Our vision is for a perfect third place between 
work and home. A blend of the two, better than 
Starbucks. 
• We will have things there for kids to do, for senior 
to relax, for youngster to connect. 
• Invite leaders come to lead. For example, teachers 
are welcomed and on house.
CA: table 
• Today’s restaurant have to manage table. 
• From Panera Bread – a note to customer advocate 
choose the smaller table that fits the party and leave 
out the bigger one for others. 
• To some restaurant – keep different size of tables, ask 
people to combine tables, try hassle customer out of 
the table once the bill is paid 
• We will not manage table. The purpose of our place is 
to encourage people to connect. Anyone fit into any 
table. 
• Bird of a feather type of discussion topic. Random by 
default, if anyone like to start a specific discussion, 
write down the note and go.
CA: service 
• Home style = self service on many things: 
Water, table, snack, etc.. 
• Treat people as your friends in your house, not 
your customer. 
• Bring snack, come to chat, you are at your home, 
relax and have fun. 
• Other service – things for “free to borrow”, kids’ 
program, learning topic, travel ideas, purchase 
recommendations. 
• Place for what you need and what you can share.

• Each store owner is the key. He/she is the most valuable 
partner, he/she hold the responsibility of connecting 
people in the store. 
• Our place is a platform for our people to achieve their 
maximum. 
• After reaching 5+ geo locations, start rotation program. 
1-2 month out of a year to other locations to connect. 
Start thinking video connections between remotes sites. 
Remote friend connection. 
• Our people are the community stars. 
• Our people are not confined to one location, or never 
ending repeating trivial tasks. They are in their own 
places that they created.

• Outside funding to grow.

• Inverse search. From search for things to open 
database to be searched for needs.

Realistic and what we need is about $450,000 
Each place have about 1800 regular friends 
At least 5+ geo locations to roll out next round of 
innovation
A look at internet age 
• Internet had passed hype, disillusion and enlightenment 
phases, it is now in the mass adoption phase. 
• In this phase, the true power is not in new things like 
searchable glass, delivery drones, driverless car, 3D 
printing, virtual reality… 
• The true power will be unleashed from revolution of 
traditional industry/business – taxi, retail, insurance, 
lending, travel, restaurant… 
• In 20 years, most business owners are from the internet 
age, internet thinking is the future. 
• People who can utilize this thinking today in traditional 
business will lead the future. 
• Let’s use this for good.

The lost of humanity fellowship Just go to a store, look at the face of the people. There are less and less communications. To the top 2%, the physical presences of our brothers and sisters are called human resources.

Story of Amazon.com I was always amazed how Amazon, an online book seller, who I think unfairly took the full advantage of bookstores and government policies, created the most respectful, technology savvy public cloud for all. Some people explained that Amazon always wanted to be a platform, selling book is just their perfect entry point. Take note -- A great vision, and an entry point.
  • 5. Story of Starbucks I do not drink coffee, but I am writing this now in a Starbucks store with their tea and a warmed cheese danish. I only been to a few of Starbucks’ 20,000+ stores around the global, but no matter when and where, there is always people. Take note -- people need a physical place, if you build it right, people will come.
  • 6. Story of friend gathering • We like to be in friend’s house. – MOST of the time you need arrange ahead. Time is limited. • I have a group of friends. – WHOSE house we will go THIS time? • We have a favor in our group. – Too much TROUBLE and BURDEN put up to your favor friend. • You want go as you DESIRE, you want to meet WITHOUT headache, you want to meet NEW friends, new ideas, new style. • We can help. Take note – how about we build a new place of OUR most favor COMMON friend – OURSELVES! Once for all!

  • 10. CA (competitive advantage): Food • Home style healthy food in a easy to carry plate • A typical lunch from Panera Bread cost $8-15. (pic #1) • We can do better. • Simple, healthy, delicious food. • Fresh fruit. • Only 2-3 different choice a day. But different each day. Rotation monthly. • Open recipe. Power of WE. • Also, it is never our intention to make a profit from food, we can use up the margin. Otherwise we are only doing a restaurant and we already failed.
  • 11. CA: place • In most of the restaurant today, it is some tables and some chairs. (pic #2 and pic #3) • Boring. It is not the future. Tomorrow’s restaurant, shopping and social place will be mixing in. • Our vision is for a perfect third place between work and home. A blend of the two, better than Starbucks. • We will have things there for kids to do, for senior to relax, for youngster to connect. • Invite leaders come to lead. For example, teachers are welcomed and on house.

CA: table • Today’s restaurant have to manage table. • From Panera Bread – a note to customer advocate choose the smaller table that fits the party and leave out the bigger one for others. • To some restaurant – keep different size of tables, ask people to combine tables, try hassle customer out of the table once the bill is paid • We will not manage table. The purpose of our place is to encourage people to connect. Anyone fit into any table. • Bird of a feather type of discussion topic. Random by default, if anyone like to start a specific discussion, write down the note and go.

CA: service • Home style = self service on many things: Water, table, snack, etc.. • Treat people as your friends in your house, not your customer. • Bring snack, come to chat, you are at your home, relax and have fun. • Other service – things for “free to borrow”, kids’ program, learning topic, travel ideas, purchase recommendations. • Place for what you need and what you can share.

He/she is the most valuable partner, he/she hold the responsibility of connecting people in the store. • Our place is a platform for our people to achieve their maximum. • After reaching 5+ geo locations, start rotation program. 1-2 month out of a year to other locations to connect. Start thinking video connections between remotes sites. Remote friend connection. • Our people are the community stars. • Our people are not confined to one location, or never ending repeating trivial tasks. They are in their own places that they created.

  • 17. A look at pure fast food and our goal Top one have average store revenue of $3m Average (all mom and pops) at $750,000 Realistic and what we need is about $450,000 Each place have about 1800 regular friends At least 5+ geo locations to roll out next round of innovation

A look at internet age • Internet had passed hype, disillusion and enlightenment phases, it is now in the mass adoption phase. • In this phase, the true power is not in new things like searchable glass, delivery drones, driverless car, 3D printing, virtual reality… • The true power will be unleashed from revolution of traditional industry/business – taxi, retail, insurance, lending, travel, restaurant… • In 20 years, most business owners are from the internet age, internet thinking is the future. • People who can utilize this thinking today in traditional business will lead the future. • Let’s use this for good.
