This technical data sheet provides information on FM1831 glass fiber cloth backed aluminum foil facing. The facing has an 18 μm aluminum foil layer adhesive bonded to a 31 g/m2 glass fiber plain fabric with 35 g/m2 LDPE adhesive. Key properties include a basis weight of 116 g/m2, thickness of 0.17 mm, tensile strength of 201.2 N/25 mm MD and 188.6 N/25 mm XD, burst strength of 399.1 kPa, 97% reflectivity, and no delamination from -29°C to 66°C. The product is available in roll widths from 1000mm to 1200mm and lengths from 50m to 2000m.
