– ‘Drop-In’, replacement for ‘Old’ Couplings
• Permanent magnets mount on load shaft
• Induction rotor mounts to motor
• No touching parts (red area shows air gap)

• Current induced from permanent magnet
flux into induction rotor
• Induction rotor becomes an induced magnet
