This manual is to provide servicing personnel with information on the general speci-
fications, service, operating principle, troubleshooting, exploded view including part
name, removing and installing procedures for RX6010C(PC)/US,AU,EU tractors with
high-end technology.
All information in this manual is based on the latest product information available at
the time of publication. Therefore, some of the information in this manual may differ
from the machine you have.
KIOTI has a principle to apply update to the next edition of the manual if there is any.
However, KIOTI has no obligation to modify the contents in this manual, especially
the contents in the manual which is already distributed or published.

Most accidents can be avoided if basic safety in-
structions and regulations are followed. Always fol-
low the safety regulations and avoid any dangerous
situation to prevent an accident.
You can be unexpectedly injured if inspecting or
servicing the tractor without full knowledge of it.
Read the service manual carefully before starting
servicing and follow the instructions for servicing,
maintenance and inspection to prevent any injury.

2.	Safety TIPS
2.1	 Safety gear
A.	 VENTILATING SYSTEM
The service should be performed in well-ventilated
area. If the engine should be started in an enclosed
place, the exhaust gas pipe should be installed.

Inhaling exhaust gas can cause cancer or damage
the generative function leading to infertility.
•
WARNING
When working on the tractor, wear safety gloves, safety
shoes, ear plugs, safety goggles, safety helmet, work-
ing clothes, etc. appropriate for your working environ-
ment. Never wear loose fitting clothing or a tie which
can be caught to the rotating part. According to the
statistics, most accidents that occurred with rotating
parts are due to this inappropriate manner of wearing
clothes.

The work should be done in a wide, level and safe
place to prevent slip and fall accident.
C.	 Illumination
The work place should be well illuminated. If working
in a dark place or under the tractor, use the work lamp.
The work lamp should be covered by the safety cover.
The bulb can cause fire due to leaked fuel if it is broken.
D.	 Safety equipment
Be sure to keep a first aid kit and fire extinguisher han-
dy at all times.
E.	 Clean working area
Keep the working area clean before and during work. If
any oil or fuel is spilled, it should be cleaned up immedi-
ately.

2.5	 Cautions when handling the
	battery
Always disconnect the negative battery cable first and
reconnect it last to avoid sparks from an accidental
short circuit. You can get injured or fire may break out.
•
Keep sparks and flames (match, lighter) away from the
battery. The battery can explode due to the battery fluid.
Never connect the battery's negative and positive
cables with metal for test. Use only tester when
checking the battery voltage.
•
•
Do not charge the frozen battery. Charging the frozen
battery can cause explosion. Let the battery warmed up
to ambient temperature (16°C, 60°F) before charging.
•
The battery contains the acid that can burn you. When
it contacts with your eyes, you may lose your sight.
•

2.6	 Cautions for high pressure hoses
The hydraulic fluid leaked from high pressure hoses
or pipes can penetrate your skin.
•

Before connecting a high pressure hose or pipe,
stop the engine and depressurize it by valve.
Check the bolts for tightness before starting the en-
gine after servicing the hydraulic system.
Use a cardboard or plank when checking leakage.
•

Never weld the high pressure pipe or the surround-
ing area. The pipe or hose can be heated and ex-
plode which can lead to fire or burn.

2.7	 Use of appropriate tools and 		
	 equipment
Use the appropriate tools in proper size. If an inap-
propriate tool is used, it can be slipped which can
damage parts or injure you.
Do not confuse units (mm, inch, etc.).
Use the air impact wrench only when unscrewing
the bolts or nuts. Such wrench should not be used
when assembly precisely machined parts which its
tightening torque should be strictly observed. It can
cause malfunction.
Be careful of a socket popped out due to the turning
force when using the air impact wrench. Especially,
be extra cautious when working on connection or
socket with joint.

2.8	 Handling of hazardous 			
	 materials
Do not use pressurized air to blow out hazardous
materials, such as clutch dust, with compressed
air. Inhaling such hazardous materials can damage
your health.
•
When lifting the tractor with a hydraulic jack or a
hoist, fix it firmly and install the auxiliary support.
Never work under the tractor if the support and the
hydraulic jack (hoist) are not installed.
When using a hydraulic jack or a hoist, do not use
it over the limit of the equipment and the conveying
belt.
Make sure that the hydraulic lock operates properly
before using the hydraulic jack. Improper use of
lock can cause a serious accident.
Check the buttons and operating direction of the
hoist before using it. Improper operation can cause
a serious accident.
Do not use wooden blocks or bricks as support un-
der the tractor. As the tractor's weight is continuous-
ly applied to them, they can be broken or collapsed.

Do not open the radiator cap when the radiator is
hot. Hot coolant or steam can be surged leading to
a serious scald.
•

2.9	 Handling of rotating blade, 		
	shaft and driving belt
Do not set a hand or a foot into the tractor's rotating
blade or PTO shaft.
	 Be extra careful when you are in loose clothes.
•
Be careful not to get caught by the rotating engine
cooling fan.

You can be seriously injured if your hand or clothes
is caught by the rotating fan belt or A/C belt.
•

2.10		Prevention of scald
Check the surface temperature of the container be-
fore draining the engine oil, transmission fluid, cool-
ant, etc. If it is hot, let it cool down before draining it.
There is danger of burning.
Perform any service on the engine parts (muffler,
exhaust manifold, turbocharger, etc.) only when
they are not hot.

Observe all relevant environmental protection regu-
lations when disposing used oil, transmission fluid,
coolant, oil filter, etc. Otherwise, they can pollute
the environment seriously and you can be charged
in violation of regulations.
•
Do not weld or apply heat to the tire rim or disc. The
tire can explode due to the rapidly increased pres-
sure in the tire.
Check tires for inflation pressure, damage, deforma-
tion, extended wear on lug and damage of rim and
disc. Also check if wheel bolts, rim bolts and nuts
are loose.
•
•
The tire rims can fall out of the tires. Therefore, stay
out of its way when checking or inflating tires.
•

3.	Safety decals
When replacing parts, be sure to install the appro-
priate safety decal as well. Otherwise, the custom-
er's safety will be threatened.
If a decal is damaged or detached, always replace
with the appropriate decal.
The decal and its attaching location are as follows.

WARNING
1.	Turning on the A/C for an extended period of
time makes the air stuffy in the cabin. Make
sure to ventilate the cabin regularly.
2.	Sleeping with the A/C ON can cause suffoca-
tion.

Use the quick turn function only during nor-
mal field work but never use it under the fol-
lowing conditions:
1. Driving at a high speed
2. Driving on a hill or sharp curve
3.	Working with an implement, such 		
	as a plow at a high speed

WARNING
1. 	For the tractor equipped with the ROPS,
make sure to wear the seat belt all the time.
For the tractor not equipped with the ROPS,
never wear the seat belt.
2. 	When driving the tractor equipped with the
ROPS, make sure to wear the seat belt. If
the tractor rolls over, hold the steering wheel
firmly and never jump out of the tractor.
Precautions for safe driving
Take the following precautions to use the tractor safely.
1)	 Set the shift lever in the neutral position.
2) 	Engage the parking brake.
At start
3) 	Make sure to interconnect the left and right brake
pedals.
4) 	Never attempt abrupt start, braking and turning.
5) 	Never let anyone ride on the tractor, other than the
driver.
6) 	Do not use the differential lock during driving.
7) 	Do not rotate an implement, such as a rotary culti-
vator.
8) 	Slow down your speed on an unpaved road, rural
path, hill and sharp curve.

13) Lower the implement for safety.
9) 	Use planks to drive in and out of a field.
10) Never let anyone come near the tractor during

WARNING
Do not remove the filler cap while the
engine is running or just stopped. Scald-
ing hot coolant can be blown out under
pressure which can cause serious injury.
WARNING
►	Do not operate any part outside the vehicle other
than installation and removal of an implement.
►	Make sure to set all the levers in their neutral posi-
tion and apply the parking brake before working on
level ground.
►Turn OFF the P.T.O switch before working on a field.
►Working on a field with the engine at a high speed
can cause the attached implement moving up,
down, left or right abruptly. Make sure to run the
engine at a low speed and secure a safe distance
before working on a field.

CAUTION
1.	 To use an implement that uses external hydraulic pres-
sure, such as a front loader, check the transmission
fluid amount. If it is insufficient, add the fluid before its
operation.
2.	 Lower the bucket onto the ground before stopping the
engine. Otherwise, it can cause an accident or injury.

CAUTION
1.	 Using parking brake
	 Before leaving the vehicle, park the vehicle
and apply the parking brake.
	 Depress the brake pedals before leaving the
vehicle.
2.	 Shifting
	 Depress the clutch pedal fully before shifting
the gear lever. Otherwise, abnormal noise
is produced from the gears. which indicates
damage.

The rear tire specifications and tire circumference are specified by the tire manufacturer based on the inflation
pressure of the standard tire and the standard load application. Therefore, the actual circumference may be dif-
ferent depending on conditions and it is recommended to measure the actual circumference.

7.	Relative speed ratio of front wheels
It is ideal to set the speed of the front wheels to 1 ~ 5% faster than the one of the rear wheels when the front
wheel drive is in operation. However, some agricultural or industrial tires may not fulfill this function. Therefore,
KIOTI allows -1 ~ 7% of the relative speed ratio for front wheels.
If this relative speed ratio is not proper during driving with front wheel drive, the tractor may not be driven straight
forward and the mechanical shift system may not be disengaged. Also, the durable life of front tire, the gears for
front axle or the drive connecting system for front axle may be affected.
7.1	 Calculation for relative speed ratio of front wheels
The relative speed ratio for front wheel is calculated as follows:
The speed ratio between the front axle and the rear axle is calculated with the gear arrangement of the transmission
and the front axle. (Refer to the figure for gear arrangement in section 6.1.)

7.2	Method of measuring circumference
The tire rolling circumference in the tire catalogue supplied by the manufacturer may differ from the actual rolling cir-
cumference. Therefore, follow below procedures to measure the actual rolling circumference.
Adjust the inflation pressure of the front and rear tires to the specified pressure.
Park the tractor on a firm and level ground.
Disengage the front wheel drive.
Mark on the rear tire and the ground where they meet.
Move the tractor until the marks on the tires meet the ground again. Be sure to move the tractor straight.
Make a second mark on the ground where the mark of tire meets.
Measure the distance between two marks on the ground.
The rolling circumference for the front tires can be measured with the same method. However, the front wheel
drive function should be disengaged.
Calculate the relative speed ratio of the front wheels based on the measured rolling circumference value as fol-
lows:
If necessary, install the most frequently used implement or a weight and repeat the same test.
If the relative speed ratio of the front wheels is over the specified value, check the tires for inflation pressure, de-
formation and specifications.
• Specified relative speed ratio for front wheels: 1 ~ 5%
• Allowable relative speed ratio for front wheels: -1 ~ 7%

Safety TIPS 2.1 Safety gear A. VENTILATING SYSTEM The service should be performed in well-ventilated area. If the engine should be started in an enclosed place, the exhaust gas pipe should be installed. T46W006A California Proposition 65 Warning Inhaling exhaust gas can cause cancer or damage the generative function leading to infertility. • WARNING When working on the tractor, wear safety gloves, safety shoes, ear plugs, safety goggles, safety helmet, work- ing clothes, etc. appropriate for your working environ- ment. Never wear loose fitting clothing or a tie which can be caught to the rotating part. According to the statistics, most accidents that occurred with rotating parts are due to this inappropriate manner of wearing clothes. 2.2 Work place T46W007A B. Safe working place T46W008A The work should be done in a wide, level and safe place to prevent slip and fall accident. C. Illumination The work place should be well illuminated. If working in a dark place or under the tractor, use the work lamp. The work lamp should be covered by the safety cover. The bulb can cause fire due to leaked fuel if it is broken. D. Safety equipment Be sure to keep a first aid kit and fire extinguisher han- dy at all times. E. Clean working area Keep the working area clean before and during work.   • 8. 2.5 Cautions when handling the battery Always disconnect the negative battery cable first and reconnect it last to avoid sparks from an accidental short circuit. You can get injured or fire may break out. • Keep sparks and flames (match, lighter) away from the battery. The battery can explode due to the battery fluid. Never connect the battery's negative and positive cables with metal for test. Use only tester when checking the battery voltage. • • Do not charge the frozen battery. Charging the frozen battery can cause explosion. Let the battery warmed up to ambient temperature (16°C, 60°F) before charging. • The battery contains the acid that can burn you.   • 9. 2.7 Use of appropriate tools and equipment Use the appropriate tools in proper size. If an inap- propriate tool is used, it can be slipped which can damage parts or injure you. Do not confuse units (mm, inch, etc.). Use the air impact wrench only when unscrewing the bolts or nuts. Such wrench should not be used when assembly precisely machined parts which its tightening torque should be strictly observed. It can cause malfunction. Be careful of a socket popped out due to the turning force when using the air impact wrench. Especially, be extra cautious when working on connection or socket with joint. • • • • 2.8 Handling of hazardous materials Do not use pressurized air to blow out hazardous materials, such as clutch dust, with compressed air. Inhaling such hazardous materials can damage your health. • When lifting the tractor with a hydraulic jack or a hoist, fix it firmly and install the auxiliary support. Never work under the tractor if the support and the hydraulic jack (hoist) are not installed. When using a hydraulic jack or a hoist, do not use it over the limit of the equipment and the conveying belt. Make sure that the hydraulic lock operates properly before using the hydraulic jack. Relative speed ratio of front wheels It is ideal to set the speed of the front wheels to 1 ~ 5% faster than the one of the rear wheels when the front wheel drive is in operation. However, some agricultural or industrial tires may not fulfill this function. Therefore, KIOTI allows -1 ~ 7% of the relative speed ratio for front wheels. If this relative speed ratio is not proper during driving with front wheel drive, the tractor may not be driven straight forward and the mechanical shift system may not be disengaged. Also, the durable life of front tire, the gears for front axle or the drive connecting system for front axle may be affected. 7.1 Calculation for relative speed ratio of front wheels The relative speed ratio for front wheel is calculated as follows: The speed ratio between the front axle and the rear axle is calculated with the gear arrangement of the transmission and the front axle. Therefore, follow below procedures to measure the actual rolling circumference. Adjust the inflation pressure of the front and rear tires to the specified pressure. Park the tractor on a firm and level ground. Disengage the front wheel drive. Mark on the rear tire and the ground where they meet. Move the tractor until the marks on the tires meet the ground again. Be sure to move the tractor straight. Make a second mark on the ground where the mark of tire meets. Measure the distance between two marks on the ground. The rolling circumference for the front tires can be measured with the same method. However, the front wheel drive function should be disengaged. Calculate the relative speed ratio of the front wheels based on the measured rolling circumference value as fol- lows: If necessary, install the most frequently used implement or a weight and repeat the same test.
