There are tools and there are those used off the grid. Open source projection mapping tool ofxPiMapper is the perfect choice if you have to do things that do not fit into categories. Generative, data-driven and interactive projection mapping projects that run from a tiny black box, it is something secret agents do. Fear not, ofxPiMapper is an invitation to become one of them.
ofxPiMapper is an open source projection mapping tool that runs on the Raspberry Pi minicomputer, an add-on for the openFrameworks creative coding toolkit that can help to create high performance interactive installations. After a brief intro, demos will be shown on how ofxPiMapper can be used to do good and shed light on top of the objects of the planet that many of us call Earth.
To inspire and communicate that there is still hope.
Graphic and motion graphic designers, 3D artists, creative technologists, interaction, UX and interface designers, anyone who has interest in projection mapping and open source software.
